The General Motors Corporation has been in the news a lot lately as the company comes to grip with soaring legacy costs, tougher competition, and quality issues. Reminders: The Right Way To Drive

GM Plans to Keep Saab, Hummer
Saab and Hummer apparently have been spared the same fate met by Oldsmobile a few years ago: dissolution of the brand. Still, both brands are troubled, but it appears that GM will stick with them through thick or thin. One make will likely prosper while the other may eventually be folded into another brand.
