Argentina: meat central, right? This is not necessarily so anymore. As a committed vegetarian (that means I do eat dairy products) unlike vegans (no dairy or eggs) I feared moving to Argentina and being deprived of vegetarian options. I would be in carnivore heaven and starve, well maybe not. What could I eat except for deep fried cheese, pizza and be completely deprived of nutrients. (and about 25 pounds heavier)
Not everyone who likes to eat organic foods has the chance to do so on a daily basis. Most people will have to settle for the more mediocre fare of the same foods they have been eating for most of their lives. Other more fortunate people however, are able to enjoy organic foods on a more regular basis, and some of these people have also been blessed with the ability to bake, which gives rise (excuse the pun!) to organic breads.
Tea wholesalers are an important, if sometimes overlooked, segment of the loose leaf tea business and they add significant value to the tea marketing and distribution process.
Many of us love wine, but lack the purse that allows for expensive, “fine” wines. For that matter, I have found that if I want to enjoy wine regularly (which I do), I can’t even afford $15 a bottle as that mounts up quickly in the old monthly budget. But fear not, budget oenophiles, good wines, even fine wines are available on a shoe string. Many people have already discovered the charms of Yellowtail and Two-buck Chuck (Charles Taylor) wines, to the point of these good wines…
Waitress is about a woman named Jenna who is depressed from her marriage to a terrible husband, as well as her lifelong loneliness. Again and again, she finds herself trapped in the abusive relationship, partly due to financial struggles. To her further dismay, she finds out she is pregnant with her husbands child. The only outlet through which she feels comfortable sharing her emotions is by baking pies. She even names pies after her feelings while inventing them. After a s…
Much as we all love eating here at Recipe4Living (and oh how we do), well admit that the culinary arts have their downsides. Collapsing soufflés, burning kitchens, and course the looming threat of obesity all come to mind. But one in particular irks me the most: a little lifelong curse called heartburn.
I can tell you truthfully that up until very recently I had absolutely no clue as to what a gluten free diet was. I didnt have even a grain of an idea that I could base my knowledge upon. I have since found out however, that gluten is what you would call the protein part of certain grains like wheat, barley, rye or other similar grains. Some people are found to be allergic to the gluten in these grains and so need to have a gluten free diet.
Do you hear that sound? No, it’s not a bear growling. It’s your stomach rumbling. To quiet your hunger pangs, you wander through crowded, unfamiliar streets, searching for food that will satisfy your hunger. You consider stopping in a typical burger joint or pizza place. But then you spot a small signboard with some unfamiliar foreign words and one that you recognize: café. After wandering through a maze of side streets and alleyways, you finally find the establishment. The…
Wine racks have become something that just about everyone wants to purchase and have within their residence. They are supplied in a wide range of styles, shapes and dimensions to fit just about anyones needs.
Not only is the Mojito one of the most popular cocktails in the world, but people love to talk about it too. Its mentioned on TV, its in books its doing the talk show rounds, its all over the place. So I looked it up a few recipes to see what all the fuss was about. Its a minty drink with rum. Sounds like something I would like, so I decided it was time to try the Mojito.
For some people, the storage and acquisition of wine is more than just a hobby, it is an art.
Wine connoisseurs all know that the proper storage of wine is important to its final flavor. Once it is already bottled, wine will still mature and gain body and flavor. Proper care should be taken when handling wine, or else its potential for greatness will go to waste. To keep their wine well preserved, the discriminating connoisseur will choose a proper wine rack.
How to B…
