Saints Release Dwight Smith
Dwight Smith was released by the New Orleans Saints last Thursday and he will probably start with another team by the end of this week: the Minnesota Vikings. Apparently he has been meeting with this teams coaches and officials since last Monday.
NFL Rookies Will Have Their Annual Symposium
The 10th annual Rookie Symposium in San Diego will be taking place on June 25th. This is a four day orientation that introduces the 2006 NFL Draft into the National Football League before the training camps start.
NFL Training Camps are About to Start
The Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Jets will be opening training camps on Thursday July 20th. These two teams will be the first ones in doing so this year followed by Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans next Sunday. It is expected that by July 30th all teams will be training in the camps.
